This young family wanted a fun and functional landscape for their newly built forever home. As a new build in an HOA, we had to work through a few approvals to start on this one. This family got a few new places to play with a priceless view of Pikes Peak. We built a basketball court, a sunken bocce ball court, an elevated fire pit area, a cornhole field, barbeque area and a tranquil water feature-all set on a vanishing edge design. Over 80,000lbs of dirt had to be brought in to create this in order to level out the incredibly steep grade, but we were able to use it to create a beautiful vanishing edge style of landscaping that carries off to the horizon. The water feature circulates over 12,000 gallons per hour and creates beautiful sounds to relax any visitors to the yard. The homeowner said he’s never made hoops on a court so serene.
